The office hours are different commencing on Wednesday.

Date:

On Wednesday, the government, semi-government, autonomous, and semi-autonomous organizations will reopen for business following the holy Eid-ul-Azha.
There is a change in the offices’ regular scheduled timing.
The office will be open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm as per the revised schedule.
In the first week of the current month, a cabinet meeting decided on the matter. Afterwards, a gazette notification was released by the minister of public administration.

Sunday through Thursday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, is when the office will be open. The weekend will run from Friday to Saturday, with a 30-minute break for lunch and Zuhr prayers.

Office hours shall be determined by the Supreme Court, banks, insurance companies, and other financial institutions.

Office hours in Bangladesh used to be from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

However, in an attempt to “save power and energy,” the government cut the hours, establishing the new schedule for November 15, 2022, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
