BNP is planning a wage campaign to demand for Khaleda Zia’s release

Date:

The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has made the decision to launch a campaign demanding Khaleda Zia, the party head, be freed.

According to Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, secretary general of the de facto opposition party, the movement’s programs are probably going to be revealed on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, he spoke at a press conference held at the party chairperson’s Gulshan office in the capital.

On Monday, the BNP’s standing committee convened. From there, the movement made its decision.

Mirza Fakhrul informed the media that the committee was especially concerned about the deteriorating health of Khaleda Zia, the three-time prime minister.

He claimed that Khaleda Zia’s health has been “stable” ever since a “pacemaker” was implanted in her heart.

When a reporter inquired about Khaleda Zia’s most recent state, the BNP secretary general responded, “As far as I Know, she was stable as of this morning.”

Khaleda Zia had a “pacemaker” implanted in her heart on Sunday afternoon at Evercare Hospital. She was later moved to a cabin equipped with a cardiac intensive care unit.

Khaleda Zia, who is 79 years old, has diabetes, heart, liver, and lung conditions in addition to arthritis.

She was taken to Evercare Hospital in the wee hours of Saturday morning as her condition worsened. Her exact time of death was unknown.

She was previously admitted on May 2nd to Evercare Hospital. For two days, the doctors there provided care in the CCU.

According to the BNP secretary general, Khaleda Zia has only been detained for political retaliation, which is entirely unlawful and against the constitution. In an effort to take control of their kingdom, the unlawful government has been forcing the “Deshnetri” to assassinate her, he said.

Khaleda Zia was not given adequate care

According to the BNP secretary general, the prime minister is to blame for Khaleda Zia’s lack of better treatment.

“I’m telling you about my experience. Khaleda Zia’s family had applied for this, and all the arrangements were nearly complete for her to go abroad. Ultimately, he said, “the prime minister rejected that when this was forwarded to her.”

Not only that, but we also wrote letters to other foreign missions. They returned despite their repeated attempts. “Sorry, brother, she did not listen to us,” they remarked, Mirza Fakhrul continued.

When asked what the purpose of this was, Mirza Fakhrul responded that it was to keep her out of politics. Shortly before the 2018 elections, she was convicted in a fabricated case and sentenced to prison. Ever since, there has been an ongoing attempt to prevent her from being released in any form.
