DU creates a committee to look into the violence in July

A committee has been established by Dhaka University to look into any violent and unanticipated events that occurred on campus between July 15 and August 5.

The investigators have been instructed to turn in their results within the next thirty days.

The convener of the inquiry body is Professor Ikramul Haque, the acting dean of the law faculty. The other members are assistant proctor Sehrin Amin Bhuiyan and Nadia Newaj Rimi from the management department.

Ayub Ali, the university’s deputy registrar, has been appointed the probe’s secretary.
