“Ballerina” trailer: Ana de Armas prepares for assassination in the spin-off of John Wick

The much awaited first trailer for “Ballerina,” the exciting new chapter in the “John Wick” saga, has been published by Lionsgate.

The official social media accounts of Lionsgate Pictures released a teaser for the film, which features Ana de Armas as Eve Macarro, a young lady chosen to attend a top assassination school.

She sets out on a difficult quest to become an expert assassin under the direction of mentor Ian McShane and a formidable teacher played by Sharon Duncan-Brewster.

Taking place during the events of ‘John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum’ (2019), the movie delves deeper into the murky realm of the Ruska Roma, an assassination secret society.

A melancholic performance of Elton John’s timeless hit “Tiny Dancer” opens the video, setting up a dramatic meeting between de Armas’ persona and Keanu Reeves’ iconic character, John Wick.

According to Deadline, the movie stars de Armas and Reeves in addition to Anjelica Huston, Gabriel Byrne, the late Lance Reddick, Catalina Sandino Moreno, and Norman Reedus.
