Md. Azizul Islam, the department’s district livestock officer, has been suspended due to allegations that he assaulted a coworker.
In this respect, a gazette notice was published today, on Wednesday. It is signed by Sayed Mahmud Belal Haidar, secretary of the ministry of fisheries and livestock.
In accordance with the notification, he was placed on leave on June 19 in accordance with Government Employees Discipline and Appeal Rules 2018—rule 12 (1). He will get a meal allowance while he is suspended.
Azizul Islam was accused of assaulting the director of the department of livestock services, Moloy Kumar Shur. Azizul’s new posting was canceled.
Moloy Kumar Shur reported a murderous attempt to the Shahbagh police department.
The minister of livestock requested that Moloy Kumar come to his home in Diganta Tower so that he could give him administrative instructions, according to the initial investigative report. Moloy Kumar then proceeded to the minister’s home on Thursday at 8:15 p.m. When he was done, he descended to the bottom floor by the lift.
Azizul was waiting in front of the lift with a hefty object, according to the FIR. He shoved Moloy Shur into the elevator as soon as it opened, causing him to fall. He struck Moloy, trying to kill him, on the head and nose. Guards from security appeared as Moloy shouted out. Azizul left at the time, threatening to kill. Moloy was later saved and sent to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where he received emergency care. There were cuts on his face, thus his face has been stitched.
